I spent this week familiarizing myself with GitHub and Git Bash. I had a short introduction to both with Sean Chen, who created the Metadata Directory Github page. It was completely new to me so, even though I had a short tutorial with Sean, It took me a few days, a few youtube videos, and conversation with one of my previous professors at DU before I felt comfortable with the process of pulling and committing changes.
This week I also went over some of the Use Cases on the Github page. I found that some of the links were out of date, so I made a few edits, but I will spend next week going over all the links to ensure that they are up-to-date.
I feel much more comfortable on GitHub this week. Next week I will begin to tackle Jekyll.
