Open Notebook Science – Tagging Posts Concerning Correspondence

I have settled on some “boilerplate” for tagging posts originally generated via e-mail.

I have employed it on a few posts so far.

Below is the text I have settled on:

Note: the following is posted in the DataONE Data Science Open Notebook as part of an ongoing research effort concerning “Open Notebook Science.”

I have considered adding this text as an available signature to my Office 365 account.

However it should be sufficient to copy and paste the text into new posts copied from TannerJessel.info via the E-Mail to Open Notebook workflow.

About Tanner Jessel

I am a graduate research assistant funded by DataONE and pursuing a Masters in Information Sciences with an Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Computational Science. I assist scholarly research efforts supporting the Sociocultural, Usability and Assessment, and Member Nodes working groups within DataONE. I am based at the Center for Information and Communication Studies at the University of Tennessee School of Information Science in Knoxville, Tennessee.
