I completed a few tasks during my last week with the internship. One of the major activities during the week was to connect with Yuan Ling, the RDA intern who is working on policy for the Metadata Standards Directory.<\/p>\n
We talked a little about what I did over the summer with the page, and brainstormed some ideas regarding contribution policy. At this point, there are few contributors to the GitHub page, mostly because, the page is still “under construction.” It is probably time to work on a marketing campaign in order to promote the page to other institutions, as well as other interns and mentors working with DataOne and RDA.<\/p>\n

I very much enjoyed my time with DataOne, I feel that I’ve gained valuable skills that I may not have the opportunity to learn in my program at DU. It was a great Summer!<\/p>\n
