It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve managed to get a post on here, but I promise I’ve been coding my buns off. The online SeaIce<\/em> metadictionary is now complete with all of the planned crowd-sourcing features:<\/p>\n The last feature to implement is relations between terms. As<\/em> people have begun to use SeaIce<\/em>, it has become evident that this will be an extremely useful feature. We will allow users to refine their definitions by suggesting related terms. Not only will this help users discover terms in the dictionary, but it will also help eliminate redundancies. Relations will be the final aspect of the metadictionary I’ll be designing.<\/p>\n As this is the last planned feature, I want to keep relations as simple as possible. At the same time, I hope they’ll be powerful enough for people to actually use.
